Hunters

InGen's hunters want the dinosaurs off the island, and they see your team as a nuisance. They patrol hunting trails, steal supply crates and eggs back to their camp, and bring their own captured dinosaurs.

Scout

Scout

The most common hunter. Scouts walk the hunting trails, steal supply crates and eggs, and raid your camp.

Rifleman

Rifleman

Fires from 3 tiles away and sees further than any other hunter (vision 6). Only 8 HP: rush him with fast dinosaurs.

Jeep

Jeep

Fast and armoured, with a gun that reaches 2 tiles. In Mission 4 you must destroy every jeep.

Snagger

Snagger

A heavy hunter truck with 60 HP and armour 3. Small dinosaurs barely scratch it.

Tank

Tank

The toughest hunter: 120 HP, armour 4 and a cannon with a 4-tile reach. Attack it with several big dinosaurs at once.

How hunters behave

  • Build your Base Camp away from hunting trails.
  • Hunters steal crates and eggs and carry them to their camp. You can steal supplies back from them.
  • Wild dinosaurs attack hunters too. If a dinosaur is chasing you, run past some hunters.
  • Some missions keep sending new hunters and hunter-owned dinosaurs from their camps and sheds.
  • A hunters' nest is their own 2x2 incubator with 100 HP.
  • A team member who is attacked while idle fights back if three of their best hits would kill the attacker and they have more than 3 HP; otherwise they run. Busy ones (walking on orders, building, carrying) just take the hit.
